What is Soundcheck?

Soundcheck is a site where clubs, bars, companies and workers' committees in Israel find artists for live shows. Whoever is booking picks an artist and sends a booking request, and the artist accepts or passes.

Who can book artists through Soundcheck?

Anyone looking for a live show: clubs and bars, culture and HR coordinators at companies, workers' committees, community centers and municipalities, and event producers.

How do I book an artist?

Pick an artist by genre, city and budget and send a request with a date, hours and a budget. When the artist accepts, contact details open up and you close it directly.

How do artists find places to play?

Sign up free and build a profile. Venues looking for a show send a request with a date and a budget, and the artist decides whether to accept.

What does it cost an artist?

Nothing. Artists pay no membership, no submission fees and no cut of the show.

What does it cost to book?

Nothing during the launch. After that, a monthly plan from 129 ILS before VAT, in three plans by number of requests a month. We give notice before any plan starts, and you can cancel any time.

Do you take a cut of the show?

No. The venue pays the artist directly, outside the site. Soundcheck never moves money between the two.

Who is responsible for the contract and the payment?

The venue and the artist, and only them. Soundcheck introduces them and is not a party to their agreement.

What is "paid on time"?

After every show the artist marks whether the money came on time. The score shows on the venue's profile after at least three ratings.

How do ratings work?

You can rate only after an accepted booking whose date has passed. Both sides rate, and the ratings go up together or after 14 days.

When do I see the artist's phone number?

Only after the artist accepts the request. From then on both sides see phone and email.

When can I sign up?

Now. Sign-up is open, and during the launch it is free for everyone: artists, clubs, companies, workers' committees and producers.
