What is Soundcheck?

Soundcheck is a site where clubs, bars, companies, workers' committees and producers in Israel find artists for live shows. Whoever is booking picks an artist by genre, city, date and budget and sends a booking request. The artist accepts or passes. The contract and the payment are settled between them, not through the site.

What a profile looks like

These profiles are a demo. Artists who join now show up here once profile building opens.

All artists

Artists never pay.Ever.

On most sites like this the artist pays to be seen. Here the venue pays a subscription and you get offers. The money from the show stays with you, all of it.

How it works for artists

Paid on time

Every musician knows "I'll send it next week". After each show the artist marks whether the money came on time, and it shows on the venue's profile. It works the other way too: the venue rates the artist.

  • Ratings only for shows that actually happened
  • Both ratings go up together, so no revenge
  • No made-up ratings. A new profile starts empty
